Sandra Boynton

Sandra Boynton makes some of the best board books. My kids have all loved her books. It is also a lot easier for me to read them over and over since they are so much fun to read. She uses great animal characters that act like people. Sandra started out as a card designer and even makes music too. Some of our favorites are Moo, Baa, La LA LA, But, Not the Hippopotamus and Horns to Toes and in Between. My 17 month old son is always going to get one of these books. He brings it right over and sits on my lap. Whenever I read Moo, Baa, La La La he does a great job repeating some of the words. I will say "The cow says" and he will finish it with the best "Moo" that he can. He continues repeating each of the different animal sounds when it is his turn.
